Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai (night train)
We will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi at 7.00 pm and transfer you to Hanoi train station for the overnight train to Lao Cai province. Experience the romantic overnight train travel.

Day 2: Lao Cai station - Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (B, L)
Arrive at Lao Cai's train station at 6.00 am. We will take 1-hour car ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Upon arrival in Sapa Town we have breakfast in a local restaurant and prepare for a great trek down to the picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. You will commence your journey from Sapa by car to Lao Chai, a Black H'mong ethnic minority village. Walk in Lao Chai village and have lunch at a local house. We then trek through terraced rice fields from Lao Chai to Ta Van village of the Giay minority people. It gives you a worth chance to learn about the local house architecture, daily lifestyle, and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscape on the way. Get back to Sapa town by car in late afternoon.

Day 3: Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai - Sapa (B, L)
After breakfast, we walk downhill to the south-west of Sapa to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong people. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then trek to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain - "the roof of Vietnam and Indochina". From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way by a jeep to return to Sapa town.

Day 4: Sapa - Bac Ha market - Ban Pho - Lao Cai station (B, L)
Located at 110km far from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9.00 am until 2.00 pm. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese). In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha. In late afternoon we will transfer you back to Lao Cai station to take the overnight train to Hanoi. You will be arriving in Hanoi at 5.30 am next day.
